Maple salmon bites with mustard sauce and pickles

  • Pickle Mustard


Les ingrédients


  • 1 salmon fillet (about 1.5 lb) without skin

  • vegetable oil, for cooking


For the maple sauce

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 green onion, finely chopped


For the mustard sauce

  • ¼ cup Silly Billy pickle mustard

  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice


Preparation


  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the maple sauce. Set aside.

  2. Cut the salmon into small cubes of about 2 cm and add the fish to the maple sauce. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, up to 24 hours.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drizzle the baking sheet with a little oil. Remove the salmon from the marinade, place it on the baking sheet, and bake for about 5 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the mustard sauce. Place the salmon bites on a serving plate and serve with the mustard sauce.
